Candela

About this template

Candela is a portfolio template for independent designers, art directors and small studios who want their work to feel calm and well made. The whole site has a day and a night look: visitors switch with a small sun and moon, the new light spreads softly from the switch, and the choice is remembered.

Pages:

- Home: a title that comes into focus letter by letter, words that light up as you read, a field of projects drifting at different speeds, services, process, kind words, recognition, questions, journal and a big call to action

- Work: all projects with discipline filters (CMS)

- Project page (CMS): facts, wide photo, challenge and approach, a photo pair, outcome with a client quote, next project

- About, Journal with article pages (CMS), Contact with a project form, 404

Motion and details:

- Day and night for every colour, also inside the components

- A paper texture over the whole site that drifts slower than the page

- A soft light that follows the mouse, like sunlight by day and a candle by night

- A lens cursor that frames "View project" and "Read note"

- A full screen curtain menu with your local time in the header

- A header that hides while you read and returns with frosted glass

- Questions that open one at a time, a project form with chips, smooth scrolling

Good to know:

- Desktop, Tablet and Phone layouts for every page.

- Every effect is a Framer component with its own controls. No code.

- Visitors who turn on "reduce motion" see the site without animation.

- Fonts: Boska and General Sans (Fontshare), Geist Mono (Google), all free.

- Photos from Pexels and Unsplash. Replace them with your own.

Launch price 69 $ for the first 20 sales or 30 days, then 119 $.
