Commitfolio is a free developer portfolio template for presenting projects through a terminal-style interface. It features a scrolling repository ticker, commit charts, a repo table and activity heatmap, with a command line for exploring projects and a file browser for viewing their contents.
About this template
Commitfolio is a free portfolio template for developers and engineers. It presents your projects the way a stock market terminal presents shares: amber text on black, a scrolling ticker and live charts.
The home page opens on a working terminal. Your repositories scroll past in a ticker, a candlestick chart shows commits per week with release markers, a table of top repos flashes as numbers change, and a 52-week activity heatmap sits underneath. There is a real command line: type a repo name to switch everything to that project, with autocomplete and keyboard shortcuts. The data can come from the built-in demo, the public GitHub API or your own JSON file. Further down, a pinned repo explorer lets visitors click through a file tree, a diff, a README and a commit graph for each project.
It comes with 10 pages: Home, Work, Work detail, Log, Writing, Writing detail, Uses, CV, Contact and a 404 page. Five CMS collections are filled in: 8 projects, 8 posts, 6 testimonials, 6 roles and 12 log entries, 40 items in all. Every page has tablet and phone layouts, SEO settings and a page transition.
Commitfolio is free. The developer Noa Kessling and all repositories and projects in the demo are fictional.
