About this template

NEWSROOM 27 is a bold, editorial Framer template for news sites, online magazines, blogs and independent publishers. Inspired by printed broadsheets and built for the web, it pairs heavy condensed headlines, italic serif accents and hairline rules with one sharp signal-red accent.

Motion is the headline. Mastheads build letter by letter, a crossed "breaking news tape" scrolls live headlines straight from your CMS, and story cards stack as you scroll. Section tiles flip in 3D, a liquid WebGL gradient glows behind the long read, and numbers count up on scroll. A custom "Read" cursor and red page wipes between pages complete the effect.

Everything is CMS-driven. Articles, Categories and Authors are connected collections with detail pages, related stories, author profiles and category filters. Mark a story as "Featured" to put it on the front page, or "Breaking" to push it into the live news tape.
