Created by: Nermin Sabanovic

Free

A website template for a one-person newsletter, with a signup form, issue archive, sponsor page with a rate card and enquiry form, and a Welcome page showing when the next issue arrives in each reader’s time zone.

About this template

Pilcrow is a free website template for a one-person newsletter: signup, issue archive, a sponsor page with a rate card and enquiry form, and a Welcome page that tells each reader when the next issue arrives in their own time zone.

What you get

The full Framer project, 8 page types: Home, Issues, an issue page (CMS), About, Sponsor, Welcome, Privacy and 404

2 CMS collections: 8 sample issues (number, date, topic, excerpt, cover, body) and 6 testimonials

Signup Form (component) on Framer's native form: Subscribe, Sending, Subscribed and Try again states, a hidden "source" field that records which form was used, and a redirect to Welcome

Next Send (code component): "Next issue · No. 49 · Thursday 07:30 your time · tomorrow" from the send days, time and zone you set; a countdown card on Welcome; Paused Until for breaks

Copy Link (code component): copies the issue URL, with a fallback when the clipboard is blocked

Accessible phone menu. Desktop, tablet and phone layouts. Satoshi and Geist Mono

Good to know

"Small Hours" and its writer are made up. Issues, testimonials, reader numbers, sponsor prices and stats are sample text; photos are from Unsplash

The signup is Framer's native form: submissions land in the Framer form inbox, or wherever you point the form settings. Form limits depend on your Framer plan

To use a newsletter service, open the Signup Form component, hide Native Form, show Embed Slot and put the service's embed in it with Framer's Embed element

The email field has no autocomplete attribute

Next Send shows the schedule you type in. It does not read a sending service, so update it when you skip a week

No payments, sponsor booking calendar, search, topic filter, comments or dark mode

Custom code doesn't publish on the free plan. A free account publishes on a Framer subdomain; a custom domain needs a paid plan

Want signups sent straight to Kit or Mailchimp, and a sponsor calendar? See Broadsheet, our $59 template.
