Safelight

About this template

Safelight is a shop for people who sell digital goods to photographers and filmmakers: presets, LUTs, film grain, overlays and sound packs. It is built to show the product working before anyone buys it.

The first screen is the signature. Every product in the CMS sits on a tilted shelf of covers that drifts across the page and lies flat as you scroll. Above it, a row of look tabs regrades every cover at once, so the hero demonstrates what you sell instead of describing it. Add a product, upload a cover, and it is on the shelf.

At a glance

- 10 page types: Home, Shop and a page per product, About, Journal and posts, Contact, Legal, 404 and a Style guide

- 6 CMS collections: Products, Categories, Reviews, FAQs, Journal and Legal

- Category filter on Home and Shop that also works from a link, such as /shop?category=luts

- Desktop, tablet and phone layouts on every page

- Light and dark mode; every colour style has both values

- 15 colour styles and 15 text styles, all in Switzer

- 7 components with variants (Button, Navigation, Product Card, Filter Tab, Review Card, FAQ Row, Submit Button)

- 4 code components with plain controls (Shelf, Shelf Item, Look Compare, Shelf Tunnel)

- Contact form and newsletter form built with Framer forms

- 4 saved Skills for Framer's Agent: the design rules, add a product, add a page, rebrand
