Salmon

About this template

Salmon is a portfolio template that looks and works like a calm, light messaging app. Visitors arrive in a direct message with you: your intro, kind words from clients and recent work arrive as messages, and channels like #work, #services and #pricing replace a traditional menu.

Built for independent designers, developers and small studios who want a portfolio that feels like working with them, not reading about them.

Highlights

• App-style layout: window chrome, rail, collapsible sidebar groups and a scrolling conversation pane that stays in place while you switch channels

• Motion throughout: the window rises on load, messages arrive in sequence, channels fade in on switch, and the mobile sidebar peeks in once on first visit

• Rich attachments: project cards with a credits overlay, reactions you can toggle, a members popover, a typing indicator and full-screen image lightboxes

• Project threads: every CMS project gets its own page with cover, facts, story, gallery and "Next project" navigation

• Pricing cards and an FAQ written as a conversation, plus a floating "Book a call" dock

• Editorial typography: Host Grotesk with Gambetta italic accents and Fragment Mono details

What's included

• 8 pages: Home, Work, Project (CMS), Services, Testimonials, Pricing, Files, 404

• CMS collections for Projects and Testimonials

• Fully responsive for desktop, tablet and phone, with a drawer menu on smaller screens

• Reusable components with variants: buttons, sidebar items, channel bar, attachments, reactions, booking dock and more

• Three built-in wallpapers (Dune, Lilac, Fog), color styles and text styles for quick re-branding

• Built natively in Framer. A single small code override powers the intro and channel-switch motion.
