About Vardag

Vardag is a typographic Framer template for wine bars, cafés, bistros and neighbourhood restaurants. It’s built on Scandinavian design: warm paper tones, one deep blue, monospaced type, dashed lines and plenty of air. The result feels calm, honest and quietly confident.

The name is Swedish for “everyday”. Vardag is made for places people come back to on a Tuesday, where the menu changes, the wine list grows and something is always on the calendar. The template keeps all of that easy to update, so the site stays as current as the place itself.

Key Features

Complete Website: Home, Events, Event page (CMS) and 404, ready to make your own.

Basic Plan Friendly: Everything runs on Framer’s Basic site plan.

Menu CMS: Food and drinks in one collection, with sections, prices, dietary tags and glass and bottle prices for wine.

Self-Sorting Events: Upcoming events show on the home page, past events move to their own section, and an empty state covers a quiet calendar.

Event Pages: Every event gets its own page, with its own booking button and link.

Live Opening Hours: A top bar shows today’s hours in your time zone, plus your own messages.

Photo Strip: A draggable polaroid ticker that speeds up as you scroll.

Accessible FAQ: Works with keyboard and screen readers.

Two Colours, Two Fonts: Change them once and the whole site follows.

Responsive: Designed for desktop, tablet and phone, and it respects reduce motion.

Setup Guide: A step-by-step guide inside the project, including SEO and structured data for restaurants.

Perfect For

Wine bars, natural wine bars, cafés, coffee bars, bistros, neighbourhood restaurants, delis, bakeries and any place that hosts tastings, guest chefs and events.
