Gouache

About this template

Gouache is a portfolio template for illustrators. The home page opens on a studio wall: prints taped up like a real pinboard, which visitors can drag around with the mouse. Below it sit your commissions, a small print shop and a commission form that asks for budget and deadline up front.

Good for

Illustrators working on books, editorial, posters, packaging and murals

Artists who sell prints or originals next to client work

Painters, printmakers and letterers who want the work to look handmade, not boxed in a grid

Features

Pinboard component: up to 14 prints with image, title, caption and link; drag them with a mouse or pen, move them with the arrow keys, click to open. On phones a tap opens the print and the page still scrolls.

Tape, pin or nothing; wall colour, dots or grid pattern, tilt and a Shuffle number for a new arrangement

Local time and availability line that you set once

Desktop, tablet and phone layouts, with a phone menu

Gambarino, General Sans and Caveat, with colour and text styles you can change in one place

Soft scroll-in animations and hover tilts

Good to know

The print shop links each print to a checkout you already have (Gumroad, Shopify, Lemon Squeezy, Etsy…). Framer itself doesn't take payments.

The form sends submissions to your Framer project, or to email and other tools through Framer's form settings.
