About this template

PAPER STATIC is an editorial blog template for writers, magazines and independent publishers who want their stories to feel printed, not generated. Inspired by risograph zines and old TV static, it pairs a bold poster typeface with a calm reading serif and a single loud signal colour.

Motion is the main feature. Headlines assemble letter by letter, story cards stack on top of each other as you scroll, category cards glide by in an endless, draggable band, and a collage board lets visitors drag quotes, photos and stickers around freely. A live TV-static screen, rotating stamps, crossing tickers, a manifesto that prints itself word by word and a custom "READ" cursor give every page its own character.
